Agency office of the year : STARCOM Sweden

For innovation in traditional media channels and via ambient, events and digital, starcom sweden's work is a consistent delight.

Picking our favourite contributor to CMDglobal and Cream was not an easy task.Initiative's West Coast USA office comes up with some great work for its entertainment clients and MindShare in India and China also regularly contribute excellent work.

In the end, though, one office stood out as the most consistent supplier of creative media delights. Starcom's Swedish office has been a regular feature in Cream ever since we launched and has 11 great pieces of work on CMDglobal, all of which are worth checking out.

What's clear is that there's no preciousness about which channel it uses and which brands get a non-traditional approach. True, it has some funky brands in the client list, but one the best solutions we've seen has been for a bread brand – see the Axa case study on CMDglobal.

Starcom Sweden also appears to have mastered the art of delivering word of mouth via digital channels with Svenskafans and Death Proof both exemplars of their approach.

It's rare to say that you genuinely look forward to seeing an agency's work, but in the case of Starcom Sweden it's certainly true.
