Vodafone had launched a new communication package, called Vodafone Office, which covered mobile phones, fixed line and data needs for a firm, and wanted to make sure people knew about it. The package enables businesses to be accessible 24 hours a day so they don’t miss a business opportunity.

In order to highlight the fact that Vodafone Office lets you work on the move, Vodafone Spain provided communication and design firm Waskman with two fully mobile offices located above hoardings, and the company moved its employees from its Bilbao and Madrid offices into these mobile offices. In Madrid, employees spent three weeks above a hoarding in Paseo do la Castellana, one of Madrid’s main avenues, so that passers-by could watch employees working in an office with see-through walls. The Bilbao-based office was placed in a see-through box in the heart of Bilbao. Each office was kitted out with state-of-the-art mobile handsets and devices including BlackBerry Bold, Samsung Omni and Nokia E71 as well as Neo 3000 desktop phones with networked exchange functionalities as well as Vodafone Netbook computers and 3G mobile broadband.

Vehicles decked out as “micro-offices” were also driven around the town centres to demonstrate how work could be done on the move.
