Nintendo is testing the "Nintendo Spot" service that allows DS console owners to compete against each other via Wi-Fi. The locations being trialled in Japan include McDonald's restaurants as well as Tsukuba Express stations and on the train. At the Nintendo Spots DS users can browse McDonald's Japan products designed for the DS plus download trial versions of DS software titles.
