Microsoft has acquired Israeli customer segmentation outfit YaData for an undisclosed sum. The deal will see YaData incorporated into Microsoft's Israeli R&D centre and the technology will be added to Microsoft's Advertiser and Publisher Solutions Group in order to improve behavioural targeting tools.
